Site work for a municipal facility in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
**As of March 24, 2023, this project has been awarded to Omasta Landscaping.** Furnish and install a 24 x 48 stone pad under two Conex boxes. This includes moving empty Conex boxes for installation of pad, excavation and site leveling, removal/disposal of any excavated material, applying loam to, and seeding of, disturbed areas, trenching (to the appropriate depth for running electrical service) approximately 88 from the building corner to the pad, and replacing Connex boxes on finished pad. Pad should have a minimum thickness of 6 and be made using stone of sufficient depth and size to support the Conex boxes while allowing for proper drainage and air circulation to mitigate corrosion of boxes. Asphalt paving is required from the front of the pad to connect with existing pavement on site. The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), on behalf of the Western Region Homeland Security Advisory Council (WRHSAC), invites quotes from qualified contractors for site work and stone pad installation services related to two existing Conex boxes located in Greenfield, MA. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Laws apply to all services. If the quote price exceeds $25,000, a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required from the contractor awarded the contract. MAPC reserves the right to accept or reject any and all quotes.
