Site work and paving for a civil project in Liverpool, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

As of March 4, 2024, all bids for this project have been rejected and the project has been shelved with no current intention to rebid. Liverpool Borough has four areas of miscellaneous roadway work proposed for the Spring of 2023. The first area shall consist of excavating to repairing and resetting portions of an existing 36-foot long 42-inch diameter reinforced concrete culvert and endwall, construction of a stream bypass and roadway repair. Two areas of work shall consist of bituminous base repair and installation of approximately 3,300 square yards of bituminous seal coat. The final area shall consist of excavation, grading to raise an existing inlet, installation of 8-inch ductile iron pipe and grading of the gravel roadway shoulder. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this contract. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within Sixty 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
