Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered Liverpool Municipal Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 2025 Water System Improvements Project General Construction Replacement of approximately 3,598 linear feet (LF) of 6-inch diameter water main with a 6-inch diameter water main along Front Street from the intersection of Front Street and SR 17 to the intersection of Front Street and Perry Street. Also included is the stream crossing under the unnamed tributary (UNT) to the Susquehanna River, replacement of approximately 78 residential and commercial service connections, three (3) fire hydrants, interconnections with existing water mains, installation of valves, associated site restoration, and all other work identified in the Contract Drawings. The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. No pre-bid conference will be held for this Project. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. The Liverpool Municipal Authority reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Liverpool Municipal Authority, and to reject any or all proposals.
