PART II All questions, interpretations, or clarifications regarding this solicitation shall be submitted through Periscope Source and are subject to the deadline for submitting questions before March 6, 2023 at 12:00 PM. If any bidder detects any discrepancy, conflict, omission, or other error in these documents, they shall notify the District in writing, thru Periscope Source, and request clarification or modification of the construction documents. Bid Comments: Notice is hereby given by the Board of Education of Jordan School District ; that because of the specialized nature of the construction on the above named project, the need for a timely completion thereof and other related factors, that bid documents, including plans and specifications, will be given to and bids received from only those general contractors who have been pre-qualified by the school district to bid on this project. This solicitation is Part II of the pre-qualification of Contractors that was initiated as part of solicitation 23KP06Q . Part I has been completed and only those Contractors are invited to submit bids for construction and associated site improvements of the project to which they are authorized to bid. Final Contractor selection will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid as submitted in Part II. The Project consists of the interior remodel of a total of approximately 5,800 - 7,100 square feet of the existing High School building, and an exterior addition of approximately 1,250 square feet. The work includes the relocation of the main and attendance office areas, construction of the main entrance vestibule with controlled access into the school building, remodel of the existing classroom, office, and administration areas, site improvements adjacent to the new work at the existing building entrance, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. JSD reserves the right to waive or modify any of the foregoing requirements when it appears to be in their best interest to do so. Nothing contained herein shall relieve any Contractor from the obligation to comply with all other documents or requirements connected with the bidding process and awarding of the contract to the satisfaction of JSD.
