The South O'Brien Community School District in Paullina, Iowa is requesting a proposal from your firm to complete the work described under the JH/HS Restroom Renovation Projects. Scope of work is for two (2) separate projects. The facility is located at 216 S Rutledge Street in Paullina, Iowa 51046. Projects include removal and replacement of existing construction (walls/hard ceilings, flooring, doors/frames and hardware, toilet compartments and accessories, etc.), miscellaneous new construction (wall and wall infill construction), new finishes (floor/wall finishes, ceiling finishes, painting, etc.) and toilet amenities (compartments, accessories, fixtures, etc.). Contractors will be required to work around the Owner's schedule when school is in session. Successful contractor(s) MAY be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum Two (2) separate projects are included under these documents. Contractor is requested to provide pricing on both projects. Projects may be completed by separate contractors and should be considered independent projects. Projects include: a. Commons Restroom Renovations (2 rooms) b. Classroom Wing Restroom Renovations (3 rooms) If subcontractors are necessary to complete any of the work, the contractor shall be responsible for contracting with them accordingly. Construction shall be phased and commence upon notice to proceed from the Owner (anticipated construction start is June 5, 2023) and be substantially completed by August 18, 2023 if possible.
