The major items of work include: Removal of existing culvert and installation of precast reinforced concrete box culvert. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bonds in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such a contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Stevens County. All original proposals must be delivered to the specified place at or before the specified time. No faxed, electronically transferred or otherwise transmitted modifications to the original sealed bid submitted at the affixed place and bid opening time will be accepted.
