Site work for a road / highway in Colville, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project consists of improvements to South Summit Street from Ivy Avenue to Birch Avenue / Miner Street and includes approximately 9,110 square yards of full depth reclamation with cement treated base, 1,600 tons of asphalt paving, 4,100 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 2,160 square yards of concrete sidewalk and driveways, rectangular rapid flashing beacon, 1,575 linear feet of 12-inch water main, 175 linear feet of 8-inch water main, 17 service connections, 2 fire hydrants, pavement markings, storm drainage improvements, erosion and sediment control, traffic control and other miscellaneous work. A certified or bank cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the City of Colville, or bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid, subject to the conditions provided for in the bid procedures and conditions. No bidder may withdraw a bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Attorneys- in-fact who sign bid bond and contract bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their power of attorney. Estimated Cost of Project: $1,500,000 - $1,600,000
