Site work for a water / sewer project in Merced, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be Performed Includes but not limited: A jack and bore operation for a 24" HDPE Sanitary Sewer in a 30" steel casing under Highway 99 and the union Pacific RailRoad Tracks along the Orchard lane alignment between Main Street and Crist Avenue. Such other items or details, not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, standard Specification, City of Merced Standard Designs and the Special Provisions shall be performed, placed, Constructed or installed. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or Cashiers check or Bid bond in the amount of 10 Percent of the total bid price, payable to the City of Merced. The Local Business Enterprise (LBE) participation goal is Five percent (5%). *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Contractor shall pay to the City as fixed and liquidated damages the sum of $3,500 per day for each and every calendar day of delay beyond the Contract Time or beyond any completion schedule, construction schedule or Project milestones established pursuant to the Contract.
