Renovation of a municipal facility in Merced, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Remove the existing metal roofing at exterior canopies, metal flashing at pilaster & parapet caps. Install new standing seam metal roofing over underlayment at canopies and install new metal flashing over underlayment at all pilaster and parapet caps. Scope of work will also include a new standing seam metal roofing and flashing, over underlayment, to be installed at the existing horizontal wood band that currently runs around the perimeter of the building. All new metal roofing and flashing shall match and have an integral factory finish. The work shall be performed within the following time frame: 45 days The District has determined the general prevailing rate to be the per diem wages for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed to execute this contract as set forth in the collective bargaining agreements for Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced Counties, California. COMPLIANCE MONITORING: This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Labor Commissioner. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening.
