Site work for an educational facility in Merced, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.

The Labyrinth project includes site grading and prep of the labyrinth site, installation of new accessible concrete path, relocation of trees and installation of owner furnished signage and bench. This work will occur on an active University of California, Merced campus. Any questions related to the bid and/or bid documents must be submitted in writing and submitted to Sara Anastos at contracts@ucmerced.edu. RFI questions must be submitted by Monday April 3 2023 by 4:00PM. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following State of California Contractor's License current at the time of submission of the Bid: A or B The Labyrinth project includes grading and prepping the labyrinth site and installation of new accessible walkway to the labyrinth site per drawings. Trees shall be relocated per University direction. Contractor shall install owner furnished signage & owner furnished bench. Contractor shall provide the labyrinth rock and provide support to labyrinth creator for the installation of the rock. Base work includes: a. Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment & labor to perform the Work outlined in the drawings. Contractor shall have a A or B license. b. Contractor shall provide support to Labyrinth creator with transporting labyrinth rock to site specific locations. Support shall include 2 laborers for 3 days. ADD01 c. Contractor shall provide 5 tons of labyrinth rockADD01 . d. Contractor shall install concrete wire mesh 6x6x10 minimum at concrete walkway.ADD01 e. Contractor shall relocate trees in conflict with design to a University approved location adjacent to existing site. f. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor and equipment for installation, implementation and maintenance of all surface-water pollution prevention measures as needed including furnishing, placing and installation effective measures for preventing runoff of soil, silts, gravel, hazardous chemicals, or other materials prohibited by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board's (CVRWQCB) Water Quality Control Plan. ADD01 g. Contractor shall request inspection at least 48 hours in advance.
