The project is located on Canal Street between 14th Street and 15th Street. BID SECURITY: Each bid Bond in the amount of 10 shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid percent of the total bid price, payable to the City of Merced. LOCAL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PARTICIPATION: The Local Business Enterprise (LBE) participation goal is five percent (5%). All questions shall be submitted in writing/email to the City Engineer no later than 5:00 pm, December 29, 2023. The City reserves the right after opening bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality (non-responsiveness) in a bid, or to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder (as determined per the Instructions to Bidders) and reject all other bids, as it may best serve the interest of the City. As a condition of award, the successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond on the City's forms each in the full amount of the contract price.
