ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Meadville R-IV School District will receive Bids for their High School Roof Replacement Project until 2:00 PM CST on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Meadville R-IV District Office located at 101 West Crandall Street, Meadville, MO 64659, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM CST to review the project with prospective bidders. Please meet in the parking lot at the north end of the project location. Bidding documents including plans, technical specifications and addenda may only be obtained by request submitted by email to roofing Consultant, Justin Burk of Roofing Solutions, Inc. (RSI) at jburk@roofingsoluti onsinc.com. Electronic copy of bidding documents will be provided by email upon request by a Prime Bidder. Email request must contain the project name, Meadville R-IV High School, in subject field and must include requesting company name, address, phone number, contact name, and statement that request is being made as Prime Bidder for the roof replacement project. Bidding documents will be emailed to bidder with request for read receipt, however, emails sent to bidders will be presumed received unless a return message is received from their email server indicating delivery failure. Prime Bidder is responsible for providing bidding documents to any of their prospective Sub-Contractor(s). A Prime Bidder plan-holders list will be maintained by Consultant and the Owner reserves the right to reject any bid from any bidder not listed on the plan-holders list. Technical questions regarding interpretations of the biddings documents shall be directed to roofing Consultant Justin Burk of Roofing Solutions, Inc. (RSI) at 913-897-1840 or preferably by email to jburk@roofingsolutionsinc.com. There shall be no verbal changes to project specifications; any changes to the project specifications shall only be issued in writing by addendum or change order. Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants are not discriminated against because of their race, color, gender, religion, sex or national origin. Additional bidding requirements are set forth within the bidding documents. The Meadville R-IV School District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total Base Bid. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Meadville R-IV School District equal to this amount will be an acceptable Bid Bond. All bids must be supplied on the Bid Form provided with the bidding documents. Additional documents that must accompany bid are as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders within the bidding documents.
