Construction Funding FY: 2025 The project is located on US 60 Grand Avenue in the City of Phoenix, at the intersection of Indian School Rd and 35th Ave.. This intersection is currently one of the most hazardous in the State, due to Grand Ave & 35th Ave being at the same grade as the BNSF RR that is adjacent to and parallels US 60 on the west side of the highway. The new project's design is to create an overpass for 35th Ave and connect it to a relocated Indian School Rd overpass. This will require additional R/W to be acquired from approximately 55 ADOT parcels. A R/W survey & R/W plans in the project area were done under proj.no. 060 MA 157 H7328 01R during 2009-2013. The initial scope tasks are anticipated to be for Verification of Right of Way Survey, Right of Way Survey, and
Final R/W Plans.
Verification of R/W Survey: The selected Consultant will verify an appropriate amount or sampling of the data
shown on the Results of Survey and Monumentation Survey for proj. 060 MA 157 H7328 01R within Sec.'s 22,
23, 26 & 27, T2N-R2E in order to confidently prepare a reconstituted Results of Survey drawing for the new
project. Limits of the verification will be along US 60 from Thomas Rd to 39th Ave, and along Indian School Rd
and 35th Ave for an approx.. 1/4 mile in each direction from US 60.
Anticipated completion date of the Verification : July 31, 2023.
Right of Way Survey: In conjunction with the Verification Survey, the Consultant will also perform field surveying
& analysis for additional side street R/W that will be impacted by the new project that was not a part of the H7328
survey. These include additional areas of Indian School Rd and 35th Ave, as well as portions of 33rd Ave, 38th
Ave, Clarendon Ave, 35th Dr., 33rd Dr., Glenrosa Ave, 36th Ave, 38th Dr. and Monterosa St. The boundaries of a
number of impacted Subdiv. Plats and private parcels will also be surveyed and analyzed. Questions, in writing, shall be received by ECS at the below email address until February 21, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. (Arizona Time). No further questions shall be accepted after the time specified.
