Remodeling of a warehouse / distribution facility in Manhattan Beach, California. Design plans call for the remodel of a warehouse / distribution facility.

Per the owner, as of January 8, 2024, a design team has been selected and the warehouse remodel is going into the building plan check phase. The owner states that a general contractor has not yet been selected. A timeline for construction has not been determined. Closed solicitation has been included below for reverence. .............. The City seeks an experienced licensed design Consultant to assist the City with the design of five upcoming capital improvement projects: Public Works Warehouse Remodel, City Hall IT Office Remodel, City Hall Digital Wall Installation, City Hall Public Services Remodel, and City Hall City Council Chambers Remodel. Each project, as appropriate, shall be addressed through the application of Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Support Services. The projects involve tenant improvements ranging from space assessment optimization, new office installation, digital wall installation, reconfiguration of modular spaces, and related site improvements. Each project needs the design Consultant to be familiar with applicable codes (building, fire, etc.) and ADA compliance requirements. The RFP & RFQ is broken into specific projects and on-call services that are designated as non-optional and optional services. The bidder is solely responsible for on time submission of their electronic bid. The City will only consider bids that have been transmitted successfully and have been issued an ebid confirmation number with a time stamp from the Bid Management System indicating that the bid was submitted successfully. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. Bidder shall be solely responsible for informing itself with respect to the proper utilization of the bid management system, for ensuring the capability of their computer system to upload the required documents, and for the stability of their internet service. Failure of the bidder to successfully submit an electronic bid shall be at the bidder's sole risk and no relief will be given for late and/or improperly submitted bids.
