Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Brackenridge Borough is proposing a new trail within the existing Brackenridge Memorial Park that will serve as an extension of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail paralleling the Allegheny River and adjacent to East 1st Avenue in Brackenridge, PA. The total trail length will be 1,245 feet (0.245 miles) from Morgan Street to Mile Lock Lane. The trail width varies from 8-0u8221to 5-0u8221 around the existing utility poles and includes a 1- 0u8221 grass buffer between the trail and East 1st Avenue. The trail includes the installation of split rail wooden fencing on the Allegheny River side. Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442; Title VI and other applicable provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Department of Labor Equal Opportunity Clause (41 CFR 60 u82111.4); Executive Order 11625 (Utilization of Minority Business Enterprise); Executive Order 12138 (Utilization of Female Business Enterprise); in compliance with Section 504 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; the Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program enacted July, 1981, which sets forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
