This is a Pavement Preservation Programs and Activities project. This project will include Crack Sealing and Micro-surfacing for various sections of roadway throughout the town limits of Garner. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver all the materials and perform all the work in the manner and form as provided by the bid documents. All materials and application processes are required to meet and or exceed NCDOT Standards and Specifications. The work covered by this provision consists of sealing existing longitudinal and transverse pavement cracks with NC DOT approved Sealant at designated locations. The Contractor will not be required to seal the existing edge joints. This provision covers the materials, equipment, construction and application procedures for rut filling and/or surfacing of existing paved surfaces in accordance with the contract. The micro-surfacing system shall be a mixture of cationic latex modified asphalt emulsion, mineral aggregate, mineral filler, water and other additives, properly proportioned, mixed and spread on the paved surface in accordance with this provision and as directed by the Town's Designee. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Garner ("Town") invites submittals of bids for the Town of Garner Street Preservation Project. The project will be awarded if pricing is within anticipated funding availability. All Questions Due - March 28, 2023, by 12:00 P.M. Final Addendum Issued March 30, 2023 This is a Pavement Preservation Programs and Activities project. This Rejuvenation will include contract services for the application of asphalt rejuvenating agent to asphaltic concrete surfaces throughout the Town of Garner. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform all services for the application of asphaltrejuvenating agent to asphaltic concrete surfaces at various locations throughout the Town of Garner. The rejuvenation of surface roads shall be by spray application of a cationic rejuvenating agent composed of petroleum oils and resins emulsified with water. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. This submittals request is neither a contractual offer nor a commitment to purchase services. The Town assumes no contractual obligation as a result of the issuance of this request, the preparation or submission of a bid by a Respondent, the evaluation of statements, or final selection.
