Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility.
The work includes, but is not limited to, upgrades to the heating water distribution system in the terminal building as follows: 1. Removal of mechanical (grooved type) couplings from the distribution system. Couplings shall be replaced with welded connections. 2. Replacement of terminal unit control and balancing valves with pressure-independent control valves. 3. Selective replacement of air-handling unit control valves with pressure-independent control valves. 4. Provision of access panels and doors to maintain and inspect the system. 5. Provision of isolation valves to bypass sections of the system to minimize system interruption during installation activities. Also included is a Port option for selective replacement of Johnson Controls Metasys HVAC equipment controllers. The option may be awarded solely at the discretion of the Port. March 13, 2024, Award of Contract. If discrepancies or omissions are found or if there is doubt as to the meaning of any part of the contract documents, submit a request for a clarification or interpretation using the "Q&A" feature in the Port's online bidding system no less than five business days prior to the due date set for submittal of proposals.
