The Town of Rowley Highway Department will receive sealed bids from qualified companies for the supply of the following road materials and services: Item 1 Bituminous Concrete Type I in place* Item 1A Type I Bituminous Concrete Berm Curb Item 2 Type I Bituminous Concrete (FOB) At Plant Item 3 Bituminous Concrete Disposal Item 4 Bituminous Excavation by Cold Planer* Item 5 Roadway Reclamation* Item 6 Pavement Markings Item 7 Adjustment, Rebuild and Remodeling of Structures* Item 8 Granite Curb Removed and Reset *Requirement of MassDOT Prequalification Certificate In accordance with MGL Ch. 30 Section 39M. all materials and services provided must conform to the latest specifications of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Highways Division and the Town of Rowley Specifications. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified, treasurer's or cashier's check or bid bond in the sum of five percent (5) of the greatest possible bid amount. Prevailing wage rates apply. The successful bidders will be required to provide a 100% performance and payment bond. The contract awards will be made by the Board of Selectmen to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder per Item. Award shall be for the current year with two optional one-year extensions. The Town of Rowley reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
