Site work for a water / sewer project in Rowley, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work of this contract generally consists of the chemical cleaning and redevelopment of Well No. 3 and Wellfield No. 5 in Rowley, Massachusetts. The work includes an evaluation of the condition of the existing Well No. 3 pump and five of the six existing pumps at Wellfield No. 5 (pumps at Wells No. 5-1, 5-2, 5-4, 5-5, and 5-6) when they are removed to clean the wells. The work also includes the replacement of the existing well pump and motor at Well No. 5-3 located in Wellfield No. 5. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. All questions and requests for information about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in writing to the Engineer, Tata & Howard, Inc., attention Kathryn Carreira, P.E. at kcarreira@tataandhoward.com.
