The intent of this notice is to identify interested sources and their respective socio-economic group. Responses to this sources-sought notice/market research may be used to issue the requirement as set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. However, the primary purpose of this notice is to identify potential Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and/or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) companies that can fulfill this requirement. CONTRACTOR'S QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: The Caribbean Healthcare System require the installation of a Green House at the Morovis National Cemetery. The requirements for this installation will be in accordance with the following specifications and features. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. The contractor shall have expertise with the development of hydroponic systems and capability to customize the dimensions and styles of the greenhouses and accessories, irrigation systems and propagation tables. 2. The contractor shall have experience with temporary commercial greenhouses structures since permanent construction is not authorized. 3. The contractor shall demonstrate capability and experience with the design and construction of greenhouses including but not limited to the following specifications: a. Enclosed polyethylene, polycarbonate, plastic, or fabric covered structure, used to cover, and protect crops from sun, wind, excessive rainfall, or cold to extend the growing season in an environmentally safe manner. b. A high-tunnel kit previously designed and customized i. Minimum Required Wind Load: 90 mph ii. Frame material: 13-16 gage (galvanized) iii. Kit includes wind bracings, purling's and anchorage as required for Caribbean weather conditions. c. A simple water cascade wall at the end of the facility to help cool the planting area and two moisture extractors at the opposite end. d. Electric connection inside the greenhouse, outside connection provided for electric system, electric panel, artificial ventilation connection and lightning connections. e. Solar panel design -PV system, capable of 8KWh 120/240 VAC Battery, 5KW Capacity PV System energy consumption. Additionally Required anchorage shall comply with federal and local regulations (Stand-Alone Panel System). f. Rainwater management system including water storage tanks. If you will be subcontracting, please indicate which company(ies) are you contemplating. In addition, if subcontracting, what percentage of the job will be performed by the subcontractor(s). Responses to this notice shall include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar performances which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact.
