Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Lisbon, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope stating the bidder's name and Lisbon Community Center Barn Roof Replacement. Strip off old shingles on entire roof. Remove gutters. Lay three (3) layers of 2" rigid insulation board on main roof (total r-value 30) No insulation board to be put on stairway roof or cupola. Install 2 x 4 runners on top of insulation at 24" o/c. Screw 2 x 4 runner through insulation into 2" thick existing roof deck with 10 inch flat head screws. Install 5/8" CDX plywood over, and nail to 2 x 4 runners. Extend fascia boards and rake boards and wrap with aluminum flashing. Extend sewer vent pipe. Re-shingle entire roof including stairway with lifetime architectural over synthetic roof paper. Remove existing "B" windows and replace with reduced size Marvin stationary. fiberglass windows with wood interior. Remove "A" windows and replace with Marvin stationary fiberglass windows with wood interior. Reinstall gutters. Remove all debris. The Town of Lisbon reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part if it deems to be in the best interest of the Town to do so.
