Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Lisbon, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The work consists of a lining two existing 48" pipes in accordance with bid documents. Bid surety in the form of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent 5% of this bid is required. The successful bidder shall also furnish a 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total bid, and to waive any informality in the bids received if it deems it to be in the best interest of the Town to do so. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of bid opening thereof. Should there be reason why the contract cannot be awarded within the specific period, this time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Town and the designated, qualified low Bidder. The Town is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer. The Contract Times will commence to run on the thirtieth day after the Effective Date of the Agreement or, if a Notice to Proceed is given, on the day indicated in the Notice to Proceed. A Notice to Proceed may be given at any time within 30 days after the Effective Date of the Agreement. In no event will the Contract Times commence to run later than the One Hundred and Twentieth day after the day of Bid opening or the thirtieth day after the Effective Date of the Agreement, whichever date is earlier Any questions regarding specifications, policies and procedures are to be directed to CLA Engineers, Inc
