Renovation of an educational facility in Lisbon, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,200-square-foot educational facility.
General contractor services are required to support the renovations of an approximate 1,200 square foot science room within the Lisbon Central School at 15 Newent Rd, Lisbon, CT 06351. Bid documents are available for download from the Town of Lisbon’s website. Sealed bids will be accepted at the First Selectman's office at Lisbon Town Hall until the designated deadline. Late bids will not be considered. A non-mandatory bidder’s conference will be held at the project site to review the scope of work. Existing conditions or drawings are not available; attendance is strongly encouraged for field measurements. Visitors must sign in at the main entrance and wait in the lobby. Questions or RFIs must be submitted by the specified deadline. Bid surety in the form of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the bid is required. The successful bidder shall also furnish a 100% Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and proof of liability insurance. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that is in its best interest. Bids must be firm and may not be withdrawn for a period of 90 days following the bid opening. The contractor must ensure equal employment opportunity for all applicants and employees regardless of race, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
