A timeline or award has not yet been established.**  The Kenton County Fiscal Court are requesting bids to update Audio Visual Equipment for our Reidlin Schott Community room and the Kenton County Fiscal Court Chambers located at 1840 Simon Kenton Way, Covington, KY 41011. Proposals should include itemized and detailed description of all necessary labor, materials and equipment for the Reidlin Schott Community room and the Kenton County Fiscal Court Chambers. Members of staff as well as members of the public will use the room. Ease of use should be emphasized in any proposal. The room itself is approximately 40'x40' and seats approximately 125 people at tables comfortably. It is located in what was once the historic Bavarian brewery in Covington KY on the southwest side of the building (near MLK Jr. Boulevard). Walls are exposed brick and the ceiling is concrete. The floor is carpeted but sound and echoing are issues. A separate RFP will be issued for sound treatment. The AV equipment in the room currently consists of three wall mounted Samsung TVs. The Fiscal Court would like to continue using these TVs. Currently, users of the room can connect to one TV at a time or use an HDMI switch location at the front of the room. Mic and speaker options are limited to those in a small podium and the speakers in the TVs. There are no mic or speakers covering the bulk of the room. Wi-Fi coverage is consistent throughout the room. This floorplan shows the room shape and general layout. The green boxes indicate where the TVs are mounted. The red circle indicates the primary presentation site with purple circles as alternative sites. Markings are not to size or scale: equired features include: 1. The ability to plug into a podium or lectern and project to a television or televisions 2. A way to choose which TVs to project to as well as a way to control any room features as appropriate (e.g. Crestron panel) 3. Speakers that allow everyone in the room to hear the presenter 4. A shared microphone that members of an audience can use to make comments 5. A microphone at the podium 6. Volume control for speakers, mics and any other audio input 7. Cameras for the primary presentation area (the red circle at the front of the room) that can be used during hybrid meetings 8. Integration of audio feeds so that everyone can be heard in person as well as by any participants who have joined online 9. A lectern or other piece of furniture to house AV equipment and provide a presentation surface (may be integrated with unit housing AV equipment) 10. Two sources of input - HDMI and Wireless
