The City of Covington has partnered with the Northern Kentucky Building Industry Association to facilitate the rehabilitation of the before mentioned property. The final contract will be between Northern Kentucky Building Industry Association and the selected contractor. Project Goals. Include all necessary Safety, Labor, Equipment and Materials for the below described project items: 1. Roof - Remove shingles and replace decking where applicable (sagging roof area where chimney was previously removed). 2. Roof - Install new shingles and roof membrane (EPDM) where applicable. 3. Roof - Install new flashing around dormers, chimneys, and other vertical roof areas. 4. Brace north and south sides of the porch entry gable. Include shoring and 6x6 posts to be installed where supports are missing. 5. Replace and secure all first-floor window openings with anchored 2x4's and durable plywood. 6. Exterior Basement Access - Install security door (BILCO steel door) 7. Exterior Basement Access - Remove and replace block wall (around the stairs).
