Georgetown Municipal Water & Sewer Service (GMWSS) is accepting sealed bids for construction of the "Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) No.2 Roof Replacement" project, which includes the construction of new trusses and a pitched roof with metal paneling be installed on existing buildings along with HVAC improvements. Sealed Bids shall be submitted to the offices of GMWSS at 1000 W. Main Street, Georgetown, KY 40324, until 2:00 pm local time on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, and then read aloud via conference call. Bidding Documents may be viewed and ordered online by registering with Lynn Imaging and clicking on Enter Planroom. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at Lynn Imaging on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. GMWSS reserves the right to waive any bidding informalities and to reject any or all bids, for any reason. There will be no pre-bid. Contractors wishing to inspect the WWTP No.2 Buildings, should contact Matthew Chancellor (GMWSS) at 859-509-3683 to schedule a site visit. There will be no site visits after 4 pm Friday, September 15. This project is OWNER funded and is not subject to Federal wage and hour provisions. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to the Georgetown Municipal Water and Sewer Services in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid shall accompany the Bid.
