The City of Bluefield, Wv is Seeking Requests for Qualifications (Rfqs) From Consulting Architectural and Engineering Firms Interested in Providing Consulting and Design Services for a New Vip Gathering and Viewing Area at the North End of Mitchell Stadium, Located in Bluefield, Wv. This Study Will Evaluate the Current Conditions, Including the Existing Stadium Amenities, to Design a Platformed Viewing and Congregating Area. The Study Will Also Include a Conceptual Plan That Considers and Maximizes the Area(S) at, and Above, the North End Zone of the Stadium as a Future Location for Team Dressing Rooms. The Consultant Will Work Closely With the City and Key Local Community Leaders for Guidance on the Project. Professional Services for the Activity Funded Include: (1) Procurement and Review of Existing Site Features and Relevant Data; (2) Development of Design Plans and Specifications for New Platform Viewing and Congregating Area; (3) Development of Conceptual Plan Identifying Key Components That Include Future Development; (4) Development of a Project Budget; (5) Preparation and Delivery of Design Plans and Specifications in Digital Format (I.e. .pdf, .dwg). Procurement of Said Services Shall Be in Accordance With 2 Cfr 200.320 (D) (5) and West Virginia Code Chapter 5g. All Consultants Interested in Being Considered for This Project Must Submit a Proposal Detailing Qualifications, Technical Expertise, Management, and Staffing Capabilities and Related Prior Experience. The Object of the Competitive Process is to Objectively Select the Firm Who Will Provide the Highest Quality of Service. Accordingly, Technical Qualifications and Experience Will Be Weighed Heavily. Firms Will Be Ranked According to Relevant Qualifications. The Most Qualified Will Be Engaged for Fee Negotiations.
