This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Bluefield, West Virginia. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
This work shall consist of periodic mowing within the corporate limits of the City of Bluefield. Mowing contract will be valid for the 2023 mowing season. Mowers must be fully licensed by the State of West Virginia and obtain a city business license. Mowers must provide proof of liability insurance. Bidders will provide a flat rate price per property and will supply their own equipment. All properties are to be raked and grass clippings bagged. Mowers must come into Bluefield City Hall Bi-Weekly to receive mowing list unless otherwise advised. Building Inspector Tyler Myers will supervise mowers and all issues should be directly discussed with him. Please note all properties to be cut will be at least 1 foot tall. Submissions may be tendered by mail or hand delivered to: Tyler Myers Building Inspector City of Bluefield, WV 200 Rogers St Bluefield, WV 24701 The City of Bluefield will afford full opportunity for minority business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award. The City of Bluefield reserves the right to accept or reject any / and or all proposals. The City of Bluefield also reserves the right to contract with one or more businesses deemed in the best interest of the City of Bluefield.
