Aspen View Public School Division is seeking bids for the design, supply and build of playground development at HA Kostash School. Detailed scope of work and requirements: Design, supply and install play structure(s), for children aged 3 to 12 years. Design focus should be on accessibility/ inclusivity, farming community, indigenous elements as well including wheelchair access and following CSA Playground standards. Two structures (one small structure for 3-5 year olds) and (one tower structure for 5-12 year olds). Variety of swings which include conventional swings as well as saucer swings Climbing structures Benches Balance Beams Recycle Bins and Garbage cans Cost of Installation Cost of a variety of ground layer such as: pea gravel, sand, wood fiber chips as safety surface to required level. Ensure positive drainage upon project completion. Stamped engineering drawings, site layout and design documents Supply of CSA compliant commercial play equipment Construction of play equipment, including identified site amenities/improvements, administrative, site supervision, commissioning, certification and project close out. The Proponent must submit a proposal with a complete set of drawings. They must state all available colors, include detailed specifications, and include color drawings or photographs of the playground equipment. All design and construction work must meet or exceed all applicable codes, regulations, and standards. The design and layout of the play equipment, safe surfacing and no encroachment zones must comply with CSA document "Children's Play spaces and Equipment", CAN/CSA-Z614-20.
