Site work for a water / sewer project in Mill Creek, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Flooding during and after periods of wet weather at the intersection between Mill Creek Blvd and 161st St SE, particularly in the northeast corner of the intersection, has been an annual problem. Some portion of the pipe under the intersection, mostly likely the pipe section under 161st St SE, may have partially failed. This project proposes to replace failed pipes beneath this intersection. It is expected that the outfall pipe to Pond 6 itself is still in servicable condition. As the problem this proj This project is included in the City of Mill Creek's FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Per the owner, as of March 21, 2023, design for this project has not yet been advertised for or started. Construction is anticipated in 2024.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
