Renovation of a mixed-use development in Northampton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Remove old culinary hood system and install new system based on specifications. Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School invites sealed bids for Replacement of 2 connected island hoods. Hoods will have rooftop up blast grease exhaust fans with rated grease ducting. Makeup air will be provided by a fan/s powered makeup air unit with evaporative cooling and heat. The makeup air unit will be ducted to a supply diffuser at each hood. Hood controls and fire suppression systems will be specified. These (2) Captive-Air hoods units must be installed by June 23, 2023. - Smith Vocational will be responsible for electrical connections and any roof modifications needed to accommodate the new hood system.
