The Base Bid work for the above contract includes the asphaltic overlay of Hafs Road from N Bloomfield Road to "CTH "U". Work includes widening of road from 22 feet to 24 feet and providing two-foot aggregate shoulder. The Base Bid work for the above contract includes: - Providing 1" Asphaltic Scratch Layer - Providing 1 3/4" Asphaltic Overlay Layer - Preparing and placing 3/4" Aggregate Shouldering Major Base Bid Items of work with approximate quantities for which bids are requested, include: 4,250 TON of HMA Pavement and 3,600 TON of 3/4" Base Aggregate Dense for shouldering and widening, 385 SY of Asphaltic Patching. Items also included in this project are preparing butt joints, and Traffic Control. The Additional work requested for the contract includes: - Providing Selective Asphaltic Wedge Layer: Wedge Depth - 0"- 2" (various locations) - Providing Asphaltic Overlay and shouldering - 1 3/4" (Lake Geneva Highway) - Providing Asphaltic Patching - (various locations) - Providing Aggregate Shouldering - (various locations) The Village/Town will only consider Bids from Bidders who accompany them with a Bid Bond, payable to the Village of Bloomfield, in the amount equal to 5 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
