Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Bloomfield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The Town of Bloomfield will receive sealed proposals for replacing an existing bridge on Aspen Avenue in the Town of Bloomfield with a precast concrete arch structure, and reconstructing approximately 900 linear feet of approaches to the bridge. Work also includes roadside ditching, and reconstructing field entrances with culvert replacement. Bid Security/Withdrawal/Rejection: No bid will be received unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% but not more than 10% of the bid payable to the Town of Bloomfield as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance within fifteen days after the award of the Contract. If the successful Bidder files the Contract, Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance, the Owner shall return the check or bond upon execution of the Contract. If the Bidder fails to file the Contract, Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Town of Bloomfield as liquidated damages. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids, without the consent of the Owner, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time for closing of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
