Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
No bids received by owner Helser Residence Hall-Exterior Grading, Waterproofing, and Sidewalk Repair Scope of Work. This project includes, but is not limited to installation of additional area drains and new storm pipe to help divert water away from the north west entrance door of Helser Hall and lower level window wells along the north side of the building. A portion of an existing sidewalk will be removed and replaced to meet ADA slope requirements and to prevent water from ponding. Rock bed will be used for erosion protection and to keep water from collecting against face of the building. The area of Work will be regraded for overall improved drainage.
