The basic scope and costs of the Project are as follows: -To perform assessments, assessment reports, engineering review, adjustments of ventilation rates, filter replacements, and carbon dioxide monitor installation by the selected firm. -The project shall be compliant with the District's grant amount through the CalSHAPE program of $4,570,050.00 ("Project Budget") with a District-Controlled contingency of $914,010.00. District-Controlled Contingency: The approved budget includes a 20% contingency amount for repairs, upgrades, or replacements necessary to make the system functional or more energy efficient. However, any repairs, upgrades, or replacements that fall under the contingency funds need to be approved by the District prior to expending the funds. All Firms must complete the prequalification process and be prequalified through QualityBidders. In addition, if the Project has electrical, mechanical, or plumbing components that will be performed by subcontractors performing under the following license classification(s), then each of those subcontractors that intend to Proposal as a first-tier subcontractor to a general contractor (prime contractor) are required to have been prequalified by the District: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46.The District highly recommends that the firm immediately complete the prequalification process to ensure its eligibility to be eligible to provide a Response.
