Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Guilford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The Town of Guilford is seeking competitive bids from experienced installers for the construction and installation of a replacement folding partition wall in the Town Community Center at 32 Church Street, Guilford CT 06437. The project includes the removal of the existing wall and track system. The replacement panel doors are specified to be manufactured in the U.S. Any questions regarding the specifications may be directed, in writing only, to Rick Maynard, Maynardr@guilfordct.gov, and to Todd Rake, raket@guilfordct.gov with copies to the Purchasing Department at barrettp@guilfordct.gov and to fainj@guilfordct.gov. The deadline for the submission of questions is 12:00 noon on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Each bidder will be required to submit to the Office of the First Selectman, their original proposal and one (1) copy, one (1) electronic copy (flash drive), and a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the base bid. Each bidder shall honor the bid price for ninety (90) business days from the date of the bid opening, without modification. Upon award of the bid, the winning bidder shall be bound by the bid proposal price throughout the contract period. The Town of Guilford reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to waive defects in same, if it deems such to be in the best interest of the Town.
