Site work and renovation of a civil project in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will upgrade the Pine Creek Water Treatment Plant (PCWTP). It will demolish and remove the existing filters, corroded baffles, piping and pumps, and purchase and install a state-of-the-art filter system, installing new filters through a wall opening. It will completely replacethe existing corroded filters, piping, and pumps in orderfor the PCWTP to produce satisfactory water in terms of quality and quantity for public services. This project is included in the FY 2023 state's Capital Improvement Program. As of April 11, 2023, further details regarding design and construction timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
