As of 7/19/2023, this project will not be awarded. The purpose of the Request for Proposal is to solicit proposals for Construction Manager-at-Risk Services for the ESC2 Renovation and Construction. The proposed CMR firm will be required to provide the following services in support of the ESC2 Renovation and Construction. The Educational Service Center (ESC) Region 2, located in Corpus Christi, Texas, faces significant structural issues with the building's entry atrium due to poor-quality stucco and exposure to harsh salt air. These issues pose a serious risk to the safety of the building's occupants and require immediate attention. The project shall be completed by October 2024 Size, type and complexity is defined as 12,000 SF and above for the building size and/or $10 million and above for the estimated construction budget and other information found in the scope of work. Questions pertaining to request should be submitted on our purchasing software platform no later than 10:00 am CST June 6, 2023, all responses to questions will be published no later than June 8, 2023 2:00 am CST. All questions must be submitted using our software platform, questions will not be accepted via any other method of delivery. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond must be submitted with Pricing Proposal acceptable to Owner, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) Contractor shall employ an experienced and competent licensed surveyor or civil engineer to establish a permanent benchmark to which easy access may be had during the progress of the Work, determine all lines and grades, and verify same from time to time during the progress of the Work. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The ESC2 reserves the right to conduct interviews with selected firms. The estimated cost of the project is $10,000,000.00.
