1. Supplier must keep the District advised of any changes in order status. 2. This is a thirty-six (36) month contract with an option to extend for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods subject to approval by both parties. The initial term begins May 1, 2023 and ends April 30, 2026. 3. All work performed must meet all electrical, mechanical and building codes based on local, state, and federal regulations. 4. Vendors shall not commence work without a properly approved purchase order. 5. Award may be to multiple vendors meeting all requirements set forth in this solicitation. 6. Bidders shall include the following additional information with this proposal: 6.1 Contractor's Qualification Statement. 6.2 Asbestos Abatement Qualification Statement. 6.3 Copy of Asbestos Abatement Contractor's Texas Department of Health Services (TDSHS) License. 6.4 Copy of Asbestos Transporter's Texas Department of Health Services (TDSHS) License. 6.5 Copy of all Asbestos Supervisor's Texas Department of Health Services (TDSHS) Licenses and Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI) Training Certificates. 6.6 Copy of key Asbestos Worker's Texas Department of Health Services (TDSHS) Registrations and Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI) Training Certificates. 6.7 Contractor's experience and references on three (3) major School Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Projects along with contact names and telephone numbers (see item 29). 6.8 List of all citations, deficiencies, or violations issued by the Texas Department of State Health Services, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and/or Environmental Protection Agency in the past 2 years (see item 31). Scope of Work: The Corpus Christi Independent School District is soliciting proposals for Asbestos Abatement Services. 6.1 The Asbestos Abatement Contractor shall provide fixed unit prices to include all abatement contractors' costs for mobilization, labor, travel, lodging, overtime, overhead and profit, equipment, supplies, chemicals, transportation, disposal of materials and any other incidentals needed to complete the work of each assigned project. 6.1.1 Project Assignment is defined as Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act Work assigned to the Asbestos Abatement Contractor on an as-needed basis which may consist of one or more locations at one or more schools or school properties simultaneously. 6.1.2 No sub-contracting of the Asbestos Work will be permitted. The contractors will be responsible for, but not limited to the removal and disposal of all asbestos containing materials.
