DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project is in Palm Beach County, Florida **Updated to reflect the description of work as annotated in Section 01 11 00 of Volume 2 of the Solicitation issued on Jun 08, 2023** The work is to create an ecological island in the Bonefish Cove area of Lake Worth Lagoon, Palm Beach County, Florida. Fill to create the island is from Peanut Island just west of Lake Worth Inlet. The hauling distance is approximately 10 nautical miles and must cross under four bridges, two of which are draw bridges. Work includes clearing and grubbing, excavation and transportation of fill material, constructing stone wave breaks, oyster reefs and bird mounds, as well as planting mangroves. Incidental related work also includes turbidity and vibration control monitoring. of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and 20,000,000.00.
