The Project includes the following Work: Street and Utility Reconstruction 7,673 CU YD AGGREGATE BASE (CV) (P) CLASS 5 3,200 TON TYPE SP 9.5 WEARING COURSE MIX (2,C) 2,357 LIN FT 8-INCH SANITARY SEWER 733 LIN FT 10-INCH SANITARY SEWER 1,721 LIN FT 15-INCH SANITARY SEWER 6,760 LIN FT 8-INCH WATERMAIN 624 LIN FT CONSTRUCT DRAINAGE STRUCTURE (OPEN BOTTOM) 13,400 LIN FT CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER (4-INCH SURMOUNTABLE) 1 LUMP SUM WATER TOWER REHABILITATION. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A Contractor responding to these Bidding Documents must submit to the City/Owner a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with Federal Davis-Bacon Act. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
