Site work and paving for a road / highway in Richmond, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a 8,200-square-foot road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for: the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to: remove and replace approximately 8,200 square feet of heaved, cracked, and broken areas in the trail at 8 separate locations within a 3 mile stretch. Replacement will include: o Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) Standard Specifications for Construction -2025 Edition available at https://www.dot.state.mn.us/pre-letting/spec/index.html o Mill and square off the affected area, remove roots, and dig out base materials. Remove unsuitable materials and soils, including all existing depth of affected asphalt, to the depth required to provide a firm foundation within the limits of the repair area. o Install a well graded granular aggregate base material placed over a stable subgrade. o Minimum total thickness: Install 4 inches of hot MV4 asphalt or to match the thickness of the existing pavement, whichever is greater, and roll to a smooth finish to match existing. o Grade paved areas uniformly to match surrounding existing pavement without awkward or abrupt transitions and to provide positive drainage free of puddling. Grade at a continuous positive slope of 2 percent (minimum) and 5 percent (maximum) to drainage provisions (e.g., catch basins, swales) to prevent puddles immediately after rain events. Additionally, do not allow standing water at pavement edges immediately after rain events for finished condition. o Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment. o Contractor is responsible to legally dispose of all materials and supplies removed or used during the project. LOCATION OF WORK The location of the project is: Within approximately 3 miles of trail segment east of the City of Roscoe, between 246 th Avenue and Roschien Lake. (see map) 1.3.
