The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SUPERINTENDENT) is seeking a qualified vendor (VENDOR)
for the procurement and implementation of a server system solution to host the virtualization environment for SBCSS.
Currently the SUPERINTENDENT uses a server and independent architecture to supply services to San Bernardino
County Superintendent of Schools and San Bernardino County School Districts It is the sole responsibility of the VENDOR to deliver their proposal to the Front Desk Receptionist where it will be dated,
and time stamped. RFP's shall remain open, valid and subject to acceptance anytime within ninety (90) days after the

The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SUPERINTENDENT) is seeking a qualified vendor

Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools and San Bernardino County School Districts.
2.0 BACKGROUND
SUPERINTENDENT serves schools and community colleges within San Bernardino County. The
Superintendent's position is an elected position, and we provide many different services to school districts.
Among those services are Web Filtering, Firewalling and internet access that will be supported by the server
infrastructure. The SUPERINTENDENT's intent is to refresh existing hardware infrastructure with the latest
technology based on the current industry standards.

Victor Valley Community College - 18422 Bear Valley Rd. Bld. 21, Victorville, CA 92395
Brier Admin - 760 E Brier Drive, San Bernardino, CA 92408
The solution should accommodate for Roy C. Hill and Victor Valley College quantity two (or more)
in a primary and secondary fashion. The fabric switches, mezzanine cards, and/or network
IOM/modules should support breakout cables to 10/25Gbps MM for at least 4 switches. Please see
the RFP Specifications for cable quantities (at least one breakout cable per network
switch/card/module). There will only be one chassis at each site
