Furnishing of all labor, material and equipment for the Issue I Redfern Road TR106 Roadway Reconstruction Project in Columbia Township, Lorain County, using various materials in accordance with specifications prepared by the office of Kenneth P. Carney, Sr., Lorain County Engineer. The section of Redfern Road TR-106 to be reconstructed beginning 1,250 ft. west of Marks Road for a distance of 4,606 ft. by 20 ft. wide, 10,236 sq. yds. All materials and equipment must meet the specifications of the Ohio Department of Transportation and shall include all necessary barricades, signs, lights, watchmen, etc., and work performed shall be under the supervision of the Lorain County Engineer. All contractors involved with this project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of this project. Bidders shall submit a list of equipment available, and labor shall be paid not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations for Lorain County. Bidders are hereby notified that funds to be expended for this project are being furnished by the Ohio Public Works Commission and Columbia Township. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, or a bond for the full amount of the bid, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a contract bond properly secured. Should any bid be rejected, such instrument will be forthwith returned upon execution of a contract. Each bid shall contain the full name or names of persons and company submitting the bid and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "REDFERN ROAD TR 106 ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION" The Columbia Township Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities, if it is deemed to be the best interest of Columbia Township to do so.
