The Work consists generally of the following: replacement of existing guardrail and end treatment, erosion control, traffic handling, and other items and details, not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, specifications or the Special Provisions. The Engineers Estimate for this project is $777,000. The Number of Working Days for this project is 30. The DBE Contract goal is 0 percent. Submit your bid with bidders security equal to at least 10 percent of the bid. Bidders are informed that, pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22300, the successful bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the County to insure performance of the Work. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The County reserves the right to waive any minor or immaterial irregularities in the bids. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish both a payment bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price and a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price on the form set forth in the Contract Documents.
