Renovation of a residential development in Moncton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
* Award subject to final approval. The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Removal of existing roofing to reveal existing vapour barrier over existing concrete deck on Roof 1 and gypsum board over steel deck for Roof 2. .2 Provision of new modified roofing materials: new vapour barrier over existing vapour barrier, new tapered/flat insulation, asphalt core board with factory applied base sheet, base sheet flashing, cap sheet and cap sheet flashing as noted in details. .3 Removal/provision of new pre finished roof edge metal flashing as noted in details. .4 Removal/provision of new roof drains c/w accessories as per details. .5 Removal/provision of new vent stacks c/w covers as per details. .6 Modifications to existing curb units/mechanical duct wrapped insulation as per details. .7 Modifications to existing fan curbs/ removal of existing membranes/provision of new membranes. .8 Remove existing concrete pavers and store on site. Reinstall at exact locations following new work. Provide a loose layer of membrane under the pavers. .9 Removal/infill of only the identified fall arrest anchors. Six (6) anchors to remain. .10 Removal of existing guardrail attached to roof edge parapet. Reinstall good to existing following new roof edge metal flashing. .11 Modifications to scupper on Roof 2. .12 Gas line supports to be raised to facilitate roofing material installations. .13 Removal/modification/reinstallation of existing metal siding to accommodate for new roof/wall flashings as per details. .14 Removal/reinstallation of any items in area where new work is being done, i.e. ladder, weathervane antenna, heat pump etc. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB.
