Renovation of a residential development in Saint John, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The work under this Contract, for Roof 1 and Roof 2 Replacement includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Removal of existing roofing to reveal existing vapour barrier over existing concrete deck. .2 Provision of new modified roofing materials: new vapour barrier over existing vapour barrier, new tapered/flat insulation, new asphalt core board with factory applied base sheet, base sheet flashing, cap sheet and cap sheet flashing as noted in details. .3 Removal/provision of new pre finished roof edge metal flashing as noted in details. .4 Removal/provision of new roof drains c/w accessories as per details. .5 Removal/ provision of new vent stacks c/w covers as per details. .6 Modifications to existing curb units/mechanical duct wrapped insulation as noted in details. .7 Complete removal/infill of existing guardrail on Roof 1. Patch/repair concrete deck prior to installation of new roofing. Provide new fall arrest guardrail system. Guardrail to remain on Roof 2. .8 Gas line supports to be raised to facilitate roofing material installations. .9 Loosen existing cladding, as much as necessary to accommodate for new roof/wall flashings as per details. Re-establish cladding good to existing. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB.
