Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Clifton, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The Facilities Department of Mesa County, Colorado is requesting competitive proposals from qualified and interested companies for all labor, equipment, and materials required to remodel the Clifton Community Hall located at 126 2nd Street, Clifton, CO. *The list of plan holders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. Scope of Services/Specifications. 4.3.1 Proposals shall address and include all of the following and requested information with their submittal: 4.3.1.1 Demolition of walls, build out of new walls, power and data as shown on the plans and specifications included under Section 9 Attachments. 4.3.1.2 Carpet and ceiling grid per specifications and drawings 4.3.1.3 Exterior ADA ramp construction as shown on the drawings and specifications. 4.3.1.4 Exterior transaction window as shown on the drawings and specifications. 4.3.1.5 Provide an anticipated starting schedule and duration for the project with your proposal. Contractor is required to provide Certificate of Occupancy by July 31, 2023. 4.3.1.6 All required permits must be obtained by contractor prior to any work starting. 4.3.2 Provide separate pricing for the complete HVAC system to include RTU's, demolition of existing ductwork, demolition of boiler, associated electrical and plumbing as related to new heating system only, new ductwork, and system controls as shown in the drawings and specifications. 4.3.3 Pricing for Alternate 1 is not required for this project. No AWP is planned for this project at this time. 4.3.4 Pricing shall be submitted on the included pricing breakdown sheet in Section 7. 4.3.5 Background Checks. All contractors must pass a background check prior to being allowed to work within the facility. 4.3.6 Working hours will be 7:00 am through 5:00 pm Monday through Friday unless approved different hours. 4.3.7 Staging areas will be discussed at the pre-bid meeting. 4.3.8 Contractor is required to maintain security of the building throughout the project. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Mesa County plans to renovate the Clifton Community Hall building in Clifton, CO to serve as a new Mesa County Sheriff's Substation. The interior of the building will be reconfigured to align with the new programed use, including new walls, flooring, ceilings and doors. The existing kitchen equipment will be removed along with all the associated kitchen roof top exhaust equipment. The existing evaporative cooling units will be removed, and the building will be upgraded with a refrigerated HVAC system which will necessitate two new rooftop units. Considering the amount of patch and repair work this would entail on the low membrane east roof, this section will also be re-roofed. Electrical outlets will be reconfigured throughout the facility to serve the new office spaces and security cameras will be added at both the interior and exterior of the facility 4.3.9 Contractor is required to provide final cleaning of all associated work areas (interior and exterior). 4.3.10 Contractors are required to cleanup and remove all materials from the site. 4.3.11 All electrical work will be performed by licensed contractor and/or subcontractor. 4.3.12 All mechanical work shall be performed by a licensed contractor and/or subcontractor. 4.3.13 Owner reserves the right to salvage any removed equipment as part of the project. 4.3.14 General Contractor shall be licensed in the City of Grand Junction and obtain all permits required.
