Site work and paving for a road / highway in Center Point, Iowa. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.
Contract B includes multiple areas of permeable pavers, and construction of a bioretention cells The project is separated into three contracts, A, B, and C. The project is broken into five divisions Contract B will include Divisions 2, 3 and 4. Contractor may choose to bid on any or all contracts. If bidding on Contract B, Contractor must bid on all Divisions 2-4. Each contract will be awarded separately to the low, responsive bidder, with the City of Center Point having the option of not selecting a contract, subject to how bids match the city's budget. Contract B, Div. 2 - $328,709 Contract B, Div. 3 - $137,863 Contract B, Div. 4 - $177,740 The successful bidder will be required to furnish a construction performance, payment, and maintenance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Said bonds to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City Council and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and the maintenance of said improvements in good repair from the time of acceptance of the improvements by the City for not less than two (2) years. Liquidated Damages in the amount of $600.00 per Calendar Day will be assessed for each Calendar Day that any work shall remain uncompleted beyond the specified completion date allowed.
