The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision to pressure wash, repair, and stain the exterior of the Discovery Center Building, located at 2854 Park Blvd, Marion, VA in Hungry Mother State Park. (Pictures included) Contractor is responsible for maintaining all necessary insurance and licenses as required. Contractor shall provide documentation before work can begin. Contractor must coordinate work dates with the park. The work must be completed no later than May 1, 2023. Park contact is Andrew Philpot, Park Manager at 276-780-1370. Any deviation from this schedule must be approved in advance by the park. Clean and pressure wash the entire Discovery Center building using a product such as Cedar Wash or agency approved equivalent. Ensure existing siding is not damaged or scarred during pressure washing. Replace siding and/or trim boards with rot or as needed. Re-caulk existing caulking where needed on the ends of siding boards, around trim, windows, and doors. Caulk the end gaps of replaced boards and as needed around replaced trim. Stain the wooden exterior of the Discovery Center building with Olympic Maximum Stain Sealant semi-transparent 717 Redwood Natural Tone or agency approved equivalent. Apply enough coats to provide an even coverage and color over all the existing and replaced siding. Spray application of the stain is permissible with an airless sprayer provided the stain is back-brushed in after the stain is applied
